The 2018 Annual Meeting of the Pittsburgh-Cleveland Catalysis Society will be held on Friday, June 8th, at the University of Pittsburgh (Benedum Hall, room 157). 

This year’s meeting will feature the presentation of the Irving Wender Award for Excellence in Catalysis.  We are happy to announce Dr. Donna Blackmond (The Scripps Research Institute) as the inaugural Irving Wender awardee. The details about the award can be found here. We are also delighted to announce that Dr. Jingguang Chen (Columbia University) will be joining us to give the 2018 Robert Burwell Lecture in Catalysis

Our program will also include the invited talks by Prof. Dionisios Vlachos (University of Delaware), Prof. Andreas Heyden (University of South Carolina), Dr. Douglas Kauffman (NETL), Prof. Zachary Ulissi (Carnegie Mellon University) and Prof. Xueyi Zhang (Penn State University).

Unlike previous years, this year’s PCCS meeting will feature a series of invited talks by experts in Catalysis (faculty and researchers) and an extended poster session for student presentations.

* All students, post-docs and junior researchers are encouraged to submit poster presentations to our extended poster session. Please submit a short abstract as a Word document or plain text by 5:00 PM, Friday, May 18, 2018, to Irem Sen (irems@andrew.cmu.edu).

*  Registration is $70 for faculty/post-doc/industrial-professionals, $10 for non-presenting students/presenting post-docs and $5 for presenting students. Payment can be made on site on the day of the Symposium. We accept cash or check only.
